(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) For the 9th consecutive year, Zimmer Real Estate Services, L.C. has been recognized by the CoStar Group as one of the top brokerage firms in the Kansas City region. The Power Broker Award is given to the top 10 firms and individual brokers in each market served by CoStar. Every year, CoStar tallies the commercial real estate sale and lease transactions that closed during the previous year and presents CoStar Power Broker Awards to the brokerage firms and individual brokers who closed the highest transaction volume in commercial property sales and leases in each market.

This year, Zimmer's Sales and Leasing division was tabbed among the top leasing and sales firms. Individually, Joyce Murray was tabbed in the office leasing category; David J. Zimmer, SIOR, FRICS, John Green and Mark C. Long, SIOR, CCIM, LEED AP were named in the industrial leasing category; and Michael VanBuskirk, SIOR, CCIM, CRE received a PowerBroker Award in the sales category.
