Property Condition Assessments |
|
If you are considering investing in real estate, whether as an occupant, an investor or a lender, it is important to have a clear understanding of what you are buying. Current property condition, maintenance history and future improvement costs are important factors to be considered prior to a purchase.
Zimmer’s inspection process will begin with a review of all available building drawings, service contracts and maintenance files. Interviews will be conducted with the current ownership and/or building management as well as existing tenants if applicable. A complete facility survey and report will include a general narrative of the building and will be supported by photography to illustrate conditions.
Zimmer’s in-house expertise extends to all building systems. Senior property managers at Zimmer have extensive experience in inspecting both the interior and exterior of a building from the perspective of identifying maintenance deficiencies. In addition, their background in budget preparation, plus access to vendors who can provide specialty inspections and pricing, provide an in-depth analysis of a building’s condition.
