Zimmer has been involved with several Sustainable Development projects, both as an owner and as an owner’s representative. Our own ECOWORKS project in Lenexa was the first LEED certified speculative office building completed in the country. We also were involved in the renovation of the historic NEW YORK LIFE BUILDING in Kansas City and the LEED certified SPRINT WORLD HEADQUARTERS CAMPUS, both green building projects.

CREPR — Reduce operating costs & realize the full value of your real estate assets. A Comprehensive Real Estate Performance Review (CREPR) is a systematic review of real estate at a given location to identify the assets, liabilities and risks of each location in terms of energy use, occupant health and welfare and environmental impact. The areas evaluated include the site (including natural and man-made systems and features,) occupied and utility buildings and structures and the operational procedures used for operation and maintenance of the location.

Every building, every site and every client is different. At Zimmer, we understand a one-size-fits-all strategy isn't the most effective way to go about business. By looking more critically at each location and understanding the client's operation, culture, and goals, Zimmer associates can identify areas that represent the greatest opportunity for improvements that will have the biggest effect on operating costs, employee well-being, and off-site environmental impacts. Zimmer doesn't advocate expensive strategies that have insignificant impacts in these areas — our team wants to help clients maximize the return on their facility investments, which means both bottom line financial returns and significant positive impacts for their employees and their community.
