Zimmer is a managing member of Columbus Park Developers, L.C., a joint venture of Urban Coeur, Kite Singleton, and Taliaferro & Browne Consulting Engineers for the development of a 360-unit housing and commercial development in Kansas City’s Columbus Park neighborhood.

The ECOWORKS project was completed in 2002 and was the first privately developed commercial project in the metropolitan Kansas City area certified under the LEED® green building rating system, which is sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Visitation Church and the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph hired Zimmer to serve as Parish Representative for its construction project which involves a significant addition and renovation of the church and its support facilities.

Zimmer Real Estate Services was engaged by Enterprise Leasing to assist them with development of a 27,000 square foot office facility located in Merriam, Kansas.

Zimmer serves as managing member of Beacon Hill Developers, LC, the Master Developer for the Beacon Hill neighborhood under a State of Missouri 353 Redevelopment Plan.

Zimmer is currently serving as Owner’s Representative on behalf of the Unified Government for the Schlitterbahn Vacation Village project. The project will be constructed on a 300-acres, east of I-435 adjacent to Village West utilizing STAR Bond financing and equity provided by Schlitterbahn.

In August 2003, plans were made to move forward with the construction of the Kansas City Hospice House. Zimmer’s involvement began with site acquisition and evolved into providing design management, construction management, complex site work, project cash flow and cost control services.

Zimmer was responsible for overall design and construction management of this 180,000 square foot facility. Located in the Southlake Technology Park, this four-story office building has 93,000 square feet of 8" access flooring. The building also includes an 8,000 square foot data center with 24" access floors, an underfloor sprinkler system and a sophisticated fire detection system. The data center incorporated Liebert units and UPS, back up batteries and an
emergency generator.
